The Morgan List: Zahara Johnson (2012)

Zahara Johnson, a senior Broadcast Journalism major at Morgan State University, was born to sing. Her penchant for bursting out into song was evident at such a young age that her sister would often joke that Zahara “could turn the ABCs into a gospel song.”

Yet Zahara, a native of Camden, N.J. gave up singing for a few years due to family conflict that temporarily derailed her dreams. This is Zahara’s story of finding herself, and getting back to what she loves.
